LinkedIn

Are you on LinkedIn? Looking to get a job? Then you should sign up for LinkedIn. I’ve had it for a while and, while it isn’t my most used social media, it’s still a great resource for connecting with people in different industries and it is definitely the most professional social media I have ever seen. Even if you are not interested in the useful networking opportunities it provides, the lack of toxicity of the more popular social media sites should be enticing enough for anyone to sign up for if they have not already. Feedly

I hadn’t heard of Feedly until today, but it seems like a great resource to gather all the different feeds I look at in a day. It especially interests me that if I were to upgrade to a paid plan I can add in Twitter feeds which would help me cut down on the nonsense that Twitter is very much filled with and instead just see the people I actually want to follow. For now, though, I’ll stick with using it for news sources on things I care about like films and gaming. Check it out if it sounds interesting to you: Feedly.com.
